Rusia y Cuba reanudarán vuelos

Cuban Ambassador Antonio Garmendia Penh said that Russia and Cuba are planning to restore direct flights between the countries.

The diplomat stressed importance of resolving this issue. It is planned to reach an agreement on flight programs between the countries by autumn. The possibility of launch of first flights will be in winter.

Cards of the Mir payment system will be launched in Cuba. Russian tourists will withdraw cash from Cuban ATMs.

The question arises about flights of Russian aircraft in the conditions of closure of airspace by the United States. Obviously, flight time to Cuba will increase.
