Renovación del acuerdo sobre turismo sin visado entre Rusia y China
Russia and China have renewed their agreement on visa-free group travel after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Leonid Flit vice president of the Russian Union of Tourism Industry and head of the incoming tourism committee said that the first group of 34 Chinese tourists arrived in Moscow on February 23.
Tourists from Guangzhou also visit St. Petersburg. They were issued visas worth $150. The arrival of tourist group was organized by the Russian tour operator Nika and the Chinese company GZL International Travel Service Ltd.
The Foreign Ministry added that Chinese citizens can visit Russia both on the basis of visas, “and visa-free” under an intergovernmental agreement.
China has lifted number of anti-COVID restrictions since January 8, 2023, including mandatory centralized quarantine and PCR testing upon arrival from abroad.
