Putin solicitó simplificar las reglas de visa para extranjeros
Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the government until November 1 of this year to work out the proposals for the simplification of visa regulations for foreign citizens traveling for tourism purposes, as well as offer a range of solutions to reduce the administrative barriers for other travelers. In particular, it will affect the rules of import and export of hunting weapons and trophies, – informs the agency ITAR-TASS.
In addition to simplifying visa regulations and administrative barriers, before July 1, 2014 the Government is instructed to develop a comprehensive long-term strategy for the development of tourism in Russia.
In particular, special attention will be paid to the improvement of the mechanism of statistical monitoring and introduction of a number of quality indicators to evaluate the tourist traffic in the country.
Based on the demand assessment, the key tourist areas will be identified, as well as the priority forms of tourism in Russia, a unified navigation system comfortable for foreigners will be developed.
Also the document seeks to prepare a “project of creating a network of hotels meeting the international standards, with the use of public-private partnership, a mandatory classification of tourist industry”.
First results on the implementation of orders of the president will be announced on February 1, 2014, when the measures taken to improve the tourism image of Russia in the world will be announced. Further control over the implementation of the program will be carried out annually.
