La cuota de migración en Moscú se redujo casi a la mitad
The quota for foreigners in Moscow for 2013 was reduced almost by half compared to the current year. So, in 2013, the quota will amount to 101.5 thousand employees, – reports the agency RIA Novosti.
As the head of the Department of Labor and Employment of Moscow, Oleg Neterebsky the quota for foreign employers was reduced nearly in three times over the past four years, from 561 thousand in 2008 to 101.5 thousand in 2013. However, the head of the department called this quota quite sufficient for the city.
This year, the patent giving the right to work in the capital was bought by 128,000 migrants, and the number of repeat purchases amounted to only 28,000. As Neterebsky explained: “Patent is the necessary means, because our immigration laws are the most liberal in the world. Repeatedly the patent was bought by no more than 27–28 thousand migrants”.
The head of department said that every year the city spends about 4.5 million for social welfare of the migrants. Also the education system and the social system in whole are under pressure. According to Neterebsky the legislation needs to be updated, which would allow to adjust the payment for such expenses.
