
Letonia abrirá para los rusos
Latvia will be open for foreigners, including Russian ones, from March 1, 2022. Janis Bekeris, Parliamentary Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that a negative PCR test must be submitted for entry. The quarantine requirement has been lifted.
Entry for Russians into the country is possible either if they have negative PCR test no older than 72 hours or upon presentation of an antigen test no older than 48 hours before departure. Russians can also present digital COVID-19 vaccination or recovery certificates that are accepted in the EU.
Children under 12 are exempt from the rules for providing medical documents. The authorities have abolished requirement to fill out an electronic questionnaire on the website www.covidpass.lv before entering country.
There is no information on visa application for tourism purposes on website of visa application center.
