Las cuotas para atraer trabajadores extranjeros a Rusia se reducirán en 62 mil personas

According to the news agency Rossiya Segodnya, the Ministry of Labour launched an initiative aimed at reducing number of quotas on attracting foreign specialists in 2016 by almost 62 thousand people in comparison with 2015.

At the moment, a draft resolution of the government on the allocation of quotas for foreign workers has not been approved yet; it is placed on the federal portal of the draft statutory laws for discussion.

In 2015, the quota for foreign workers in Russia amounted to 275 856 people, in 2016, as stated in the draft, the quota will be set at 213 929 invitations to enter the Russian Federation to implement the work.

It is separately mentioned at the document that the implementation of the need to attract foreign workers under this quota will be carried out according to the distribution into professional qualification groups.

Thus, the most significant quota, namely 99 524 person, is allocated for workers of mining, construction and mounting works. The next largest group consists of qualified workers of large and small industrial enterprises, their quota is 20 619 people. Least of all places are allocated for salesmen – only 828 people.
