
Introducción de visados electrónicos para la entrada en Rusia en el estudio
The president of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin has signed instruction about introduction of single e-visa issue from 1 January of 2021 for foreigners entering Russia, reported newspaper “Kommersant” citing read document.
Newspaper “Vedomosti” writes that market participant who participated in its discussion, confirmed authenticity of document.
The presidential spokesman Dmitriy Peskov says: “We are really addressing e-visa issue; instruction is given to the Prime Minister, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Minister of the Interior and the Director of the Federal Security Service”.
Representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development (it`s in charge of tourism) and representatives of these departments declined to comment.
Simplified procedure of processing documents for e-visas can be completed remotely without visiting the visa center. Such e-visas will be single, short-term, up to 16 days, but universal — for tourist, business, private and humanitarian trips.
