Israel pide a Rusia que permita la entrada de sus ciudadanos
Israeli Tourism Minister Konstantin (Yoel) Razvozov asked the Russian government to allow Israelis to enter Russia.
The letter was sent to the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova. Razvozov clarified that the Israeli government allowed entry of Russians vaccinated with Sputnik V in November 2021. For this reason, a reciprocal step by the Russian government is expected to allow entry of Israeli citizens into the Russian Federation.
This topic was discussed in November during visit of Israeli delegation to Moscow. Inbound tourism between the countries was suspended at the start of the pandemic.
In January, the Israeli authorities opened borders to tourists who were vaccinated and had been ill with the virus. These tourists included those who were vaccinated by Sputnik V. Russian travelers will be able to enter Israel with a Russian antibody certificate.
