Un foro internacional “Visit Russia 2012” se llevará a cabo en Yaroslavl
May 25-26 in Yaroslavl, an International tourist forum “Visit Russia 2012” will be held where new tourist Russian destinations will be presented and the main problems of the tourism industry will be brought to the discussion.
Thus, the first day of the Forum the meeting will be held in Yaroslavl under support of the Plenipotentiary Representative of Russian President in Central Federal District, one of the main topics will be a problem of the federal target program “Development of domestic and incoming tourism in the Russian Federation for 2011-2018”.
Also during the forum the business session and meeting will took place, where the participant regions of the forum will present its tourist product, the itinerary and share experiences.
In particular, during the forum the new inter-regional itinerary through Russia will be presented, such as “Three Capitals of Russia”, “Royal Road” and “Silver Ring”.
The route “Three Capitals” unites Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kazan. As stated by Catherine Barabanova, the representative of Tatarstan Minsportturism, the route is in demand not only among Russian but also among foreign tourists.
The second day of the Forum will be devoted to the thematic session on the water and cruise tourism in Russia. According to some experts, despite the huge potential in the field of cruising, Russia has only 3% in cruising tourism in the overall structure of the industry. The main factor of this state of affairs the experts name the lack of infrastructure. In particular, the outdated water fleet, ports and marinas.
The organizers of the Tourism Forum “Visit Russia 2012” are the Government of the Yaroslavl Region and the City of Yaroslavl. The organizers were supported by a plenipotentiary representative of the Russian President in Central Federal District, as well as the Ministry of Sport, Tourism and Youth Policy and the Federal Agency for Tourism.
