La exposición en Moscú “Italia viene a ti”

The exhibition “Italia comes to you”, dedicated to the cross-year of Italy in Russia and of Russia in Italy, was held in the park “Sokolniki”, Moscow. The exhibition tells about culture and lifestyle, tourism potential, art and traditions. As the general director of the National Tourism Agency of Italy Paolo Rubini said that the main place in the exhibition was taken by the works of Russian artists, photographers and sculptors, created in Italy during the tour through ten cities of the country.

On the stands there were represented 20 regions of Italy, the main attractions of the country and the national symbol of the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy – baked goods “Takinardi”.

Visitors can get acquainted with the photo works of the “King of Paparazzi” Rino Barillari, who almost during 50 years took the pictures of the world stars of fashion and movie.

Also at the exhibition one could see the picture of Italian Renaissance painting masters Francesco di Giorgio Martini “Madonna and Child on a throne, angels and saints”, the cars Maseratti, the garden of endangered plants made of murano glass by Roberto Bertazzi.

In Moscow the exhibition ended on September 4 and went to St. Petersburg, and then to Yekaterinburg.

The program of the cross-year, which opened in Rome on 16 February 2011 in the presence of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, includes a number of events, among them participation of Italian teams in the International Chekhov Festival, tours of the Theatre of Nations in Italy, numerous art exhibitions and gala concert of the Milan Theatre artists La Scala on the historical stage of the Bolshoi Theatre in honor of the cross-year of the two countries.
