Russian employers will be involved in teaching the Russian language foreign workers, – informs the newspaper “Izvestia” with reference to the Federal Migration Service.

In particular, the head of FMS department on work with national communities Tatiana Dmitrieva said: “We need to involve employers to motivate and pay the tuition for their stuff. Now we monitor if there is a need for such training”.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law requiring migrant workers to pass an exam in Russian language. The exception would be the highly qualified specialists. With negative results of such examination the foreigner cannot obtain a residence permit, work permits and other documents. The law will come into force on 1 January 2015.

According to FMS, the company executives are interested in the training of staff. Beyond the threat of losing the labor force after 2015 in the case of disparity of knowledge of foreigners to the required level, the employers can solve the problem of social adaptation of workers.

Meanwhile, the Russian educational system has already started preparations for the entry into force of the low. Thus, according to the deputy head of the department of theology of the Ural State Mining University Alexey Starostin, the first courses of Russian language for migrants based on their department are already opened.

The development of standard test tasks on Russian language, history and law of Russia is started, which the foreigners working in Russia will have to pass. According to the creators, they generally correspond to the third-fifth grade of secondary school. Tests will contain about 12 questions.
