The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Russia opened a website for issuing electronic visas to foreigners to visit Vladivostok.

Citizens of the following countries can obtain a single-entry business, tourist or humanitarian visas as an electronic document: Algeria, Bahrain, Brunei, India, Iran, Qatar, China, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Kuwait, Morocco, Mexico, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Tunisia, Turkey, Japan.

It is necessary to emphasize that an electronic visa is issued in 4 calendar days. Foreigners can fill in an application form on the website. They can go with this visa through the checkpoint “Vladivostok international Airport (Knevichi)” and the maritime checkpoint “Vladivostok”.

“Electronic visas are valid for entry in and exit from Russia only through checkpoints across the Russian border located on the territory of the free port of Vladivostok (Primorsky Krai, Kamchatka Krai, Khabarovsk, Sakhalin Region, Chukotka Autonomous Okrug),” stressed the Russian Foreign Ministry.

As noted, transport companies will check a foreign citizen with a valid electronic visa on the basis of special automated website of the Russian Foreign Ministry. An electronic visa will be issued free.
