Los trenes de dos pisos se extenderán entre Moscú y San Petersburgo
A new firm train N5/6 with double-decker carriages will start to run between Moscow and St. Petersburg – reported the press-service of JSC “Russian Railways”.
The first train will leave on February 1, 2015 from St. Petersburg and on February 2 from Moscow. Ticket sales for the new train is already open, the cost of travel from Moscow to St. Petersburg at the moment is 1,299 rubles while the ticket price may vary depending on demand, season, weekends and working days.
For passengers who have bought a ticket for the train, the service of electronic registration will be available. Trains will start to run every day at 22:50 Moscow time.
The new train will consist of the train compartment cars, staff car and dining car and will also be provided with the compartments equipped for passenger with restricted abilities.
The direction of Moscow – St. Petersburg is not the only where is planned to operate double-decker cars launched in June 2012. So, by May 2016 Aeroexpress should become the owner of 118 wagons of this type to transport passengers to the airport.
