Austria levanta la cuarentena para los turistas de Rusia
Austria has relaxed entry into the country for vaccinated tourists from Russia and several other countries. Travelers who are vaccinated against COVID-19 are not required to comply with mandatory quarantine when entering the country.
Russia, India, the Netherlands, Nepal, United Kingdom, South Africa, Zambia and Botswana are no longer considered coronavirus areas. The decision to soften entry into Austria was made after these countries were excluded from the list of regions where COVID-19 is spread. However, the Russians may have difficulties.
Austria has so far approved seven vaccines: BioNTech / Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, Sinovac, Sinopharm and Covishield. The Russian “Sputnik V” is not on this list.
To enter Austria, foreigners must also present a certificate of infection with a paper confirming that they have received one dose of the approved vaccine.
