Australia abrirá fronteras a extranjeros

Australian lawmakers will take up issue about opening borders to foreign travelers this week.

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison said that the Australian authorities are waiting for border to open and visitors to visit the country. As soon as the government can ensure the safety of people, resumption of air traffic will be possible.

The Australian Parliament will meet on February 7th. The Australian media announced resumption of the country's air service within two or three weeks. In January Morrison said that airspace would reopen before Easter.

Foreigners are required to show documents on vaccination either exemption from vaccinations for medical reasons.

Australia has achieved lower rates of coronavirus infections among citizens due to the introduction of strict lockdown rules and border closures.
