Ministry of Healthcare started to accept the applications to attraction of foreigners for work

Ministry of Healthcare of Russia has started a campaign of reception of applications from employers to hire foreign workers in 2013 – reported the press service of the Ministry January, 17. Employers have to determine the number of required workers before May 1, 2012.

We should also mention the fact that the creation of such applications has become easier this year, thanks to the upgraded website “Immigration Quotas” of the Ministry of Healthcare. As the press release of the Ministry notes: “The programmers have improved the interface, so the employer got the opportunity to send a request to the authorized body, to monitor the stages of the application, to add the applications for adjustment of quotas and other.”

But this does not mean that the employer will not have to apply in person in the authorized organization. The site only helps to prepare an application correctly.

On the basis of the applications sent before May 1, the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation will send request to the government to define migration quotas for 2013.

However, we should note that the employer has no right to hire a foreigner if this post can be taken by a Russian national instead. Also, the employer act as guarantor of proper housing and medical support of a foreign citizen and the level of income that is not less than the poverty level in the region of the Russian Federation.
