Russia should become the country of the dream for the foreigners, – Russian president Dmitry Medvedev has declared in the performance at the opening of the annual economic forum in Saint Petersburg.

In particular, the president meant the creation of the favorable economic environment for the inflow of the foreign investments as it would be one of the primary factors of modernization of Russian economy and innovative development.

“Creation of comfortable conditions for the investors is, as a matter of fact, our major task. We put it today in the center of our actions”, – has emphasized Dmitry Medvedev.

The investment boom is necessary for Russia, the country is ready to enter the essential transformations in order that the foreign businessmen would feel more confident.

Dmitry Medvedev has explained, that the rules of work of the law enforcement bodies concerning business and businessmen will be changed for the creation of the favorable conditions in Russia.

“The procedures of business checking became regulated and caused by supervision of prosecutor's office more neatly. The additional changes will be also required in criminal legislation, in criminally remedial acts and in other legislation. I shall offer these changes”, – has emphasized the President.

According to the plan, during the next decade Russia will become the country standing not so much due to the source of the raw materials, but due to the innovations in the field of economy, science and technologies.

Dmitry Medvedev has noted, that the visa rules for the foreigners and, particularly, for the foreign businessmen will be advanced in Russia, even now Russian visa became more available for the citizens of many countries.

“I hope, that many visitors of our today's forum will take the advantage of new possibilities to make business and career in Russia in the near future”, – has noted Dmitry Medvedev.

Now the role of Russia consists in creation of the favorable economic and legal climate and the fair competitive environment for the Russian and foreign companies.
